E-commerce is poised to become a significant force in retail, but certain challenges remain, particularly in developing countries like the Philippines where cash payments are still predominant. With over 100 million people in the population, only a mere 5% are estimated to possess credit cards, and around 20% to 25% have access to a bank account. So how can we cater to potential buyers who don't have credit cards and encourage them to shop online?

Dragonpay provides a solution by bridging the gap between the online and physical worlds. Customers can now make purchases online from e-commerce merchants and conveniently fulfill their payments using non-credit card channels. We currently support online banking services from major local commercial banks, physical ATM payments, over-the-counter cash payments at banks and retail establishments (such as supermarkets, groceries, department stores, courier centers, and remittance centers). To make it even simpler for our merchants, we offer a single, unified Application Programming Interface (API) that allows them to accept payments from any supported source.
